A wine bottle you have to play open. So we built a website that plays along.

Vinigma sells a game with a combination lock that you put on a bottle of wine. You only get that bottle open by solving a series of riddles together. A product like that deserves better than a template site, so we built one where the bottle turns as you scroll, in two languages, with a shop in the same style.

Vinigma makes a game you put on a bottle of wine. A black combination lock around the neck, a deck of puzzle cards to go with it, and the only way to find the code is to solve the riddles together. Twenty to twenty-five minutes of puzzling, and only then does the bottle open.

The starting point

A product like that lives on tension and atmosphere. The website it had was an off-the-shelf template, and it told you little of that. Everything worked, but nothing about it felt like a game.

What we built

A site where the game starts while you scroll. The opening shot zooms in on the bottle. A little further down, the bottle sits on a turntable that you control. The bottle and the lock were filmed for real while spinning. We cut that footage into dozens of frames and tied them to your scroll. The further you scroll, the further the bottle turns.

Every image is real product photography. No stock photos and no AI images, because on a brand built on authenticity that would instantly ring false.

The site exists in French and English. Switching takes one click, no reload, and your choice is remembered.

The shop

There is a webshop attached, in the same dark style as the rest of the site. You can’t tell where the site ends and the shop begins. The mandatory age check and health notice for alcohol in France are built in.

Their own hands on the wheel

The team behind Vinigma manages everything themselves. Every text and every photo can be edited in both languages, sections can be reordered or hidden, and a new retail location automatically shows up on the map of stores in France and Switzerland. Day-to-day upkeep needs no developer.

And for you?

See the result at shop.vinigma.fr. And if you have a product with a story your website doesn’t tell, let us take a look. The first look is free and no strings attached.
