What does GAST Tech actually do?
GAST Tech is process optimisation and automation. I analyse where your company loses time between your software, and I fix it with integrations between your tools, automations of recurring work, or custom builds where no off the shelf solution exists. Software architect from Ghent, from 100 euro per hour.
What does a first look cost?
Nothing. I come and look, and you get an honest assessment. No obligation.
Do you only work in Ghent?
No, I work everywhere in Belgium and remotely worldwide. On site I mostly visit clients in East and West Flanders.
Which sectors do you work in?
No fixed sector. Scaleups and SMEs that lose more time to admin and manual work than they realise: construction, retail, e-commerce, services, manufacturing. The place where time leaks looks surprisingly similar across every sector.
Do you build it yourself or refer me on?
Both. Sometimes the solution already exists, sometimes I build it. I tell you what pays off fastest.
Which tools do you work with?
The tools you already use. CRM, accounting, planning, e-commerce, ERP: I make them work together via integrations, or with an automation layer on top using Make, n8n or custom code.
Do you also do AI and LLM integrations?
Yes. Sometimes an AI step is exactly what a process needs, often it is not. I pick the simplest solution that works and use AI where it actually saves time. AI consultancy is priced above the base hourly rate.
How long does it take?
Often weeks, sometimes days. The small fixes pay off the fastest. An audit and a first working integration usually take one to three weeks.
And if you build something, what does that cost?
From 100 euro per hour (excl. VAT), transparent. You get an upfront estimate of hours and you decide along the way after each step. AI consultancy is priced higher.
What if I do not have a technical background?
No problem. The first look is in your language, not in technical jargon. I explain what happens and what it solves. The decision stays with you.
How do I start?
Email [email protected] or click "Book a first look" at the top. We schedule a short call or visit. I look along, you hear what I see and a rough estimate. No obligation.
How safe is it to give me access to your systems?
During an engagement I sign a data processing agreement (art. 28 GDPR). I use your data only for the engagement, I do not share it and I keep no copies longer than needed. More details are in my privacy policy.
Which languages do you work in?
Dutch and English, both for the conversation and for documentation and code. The website is available in both languages.
What if the solution already exists?
Then I say so. If an existing tool or a feature in your current SaaS gets the job done, that is cheaper and faster than building something new. I do not sell hours you do not need.
Are there costs on top of the hourly rate?
Sometimes yes, and only at cost. Cloud hosting, AI tokens and recurring maintenance like security updates for cloud apps are billed at what they cost me. Before any work starts you will know what to expect, so nothing surprises you later.
